Ahead of COP27, we have been very delighted to speak today at the London Climate Technology Show , funded by Honeywell, on Saudi Hydrogen strategy & global energy transition, Along with an excellent cohort of global Energy and Climate speakers including the CEO of UK Environment Agency Sir James Bevan, and HH Sheikha Shamma bin Sultan Al Nuheyan of UAE .
Our talk covered the competitive cost of hydrogen production that the GCC has and the Saudi targets to become the world’s largest producer of clean H2 by 2030 with a capacity of 4mT/year. Our presentation also covered highlights of the AlJafura Gas field, the worlds largest unconventional gas field, 200TCF reserves, with $100B investment which will support the blue hydrogen project, in addition to the NEOM green hydrogen project.
